It looks like I’m a couple days away from my first ‘harvest’. I should be able to get two or three zucchini off of this plant this week. I can’t wait.

Since I grew up not liking tomatoes, zucchini is what says ’summer garden’ to me. And the triple digits here sure make it feel like summer.
Now if school would just let out…

Oh, I’m so jealous. My first zucchini plant has just emerged from its seed.
Probably not too jealous of the triple digit temperatures in May though I bet.
These were from the nursery. My father in law offered me some seed, but I knew I needed a few things to be quick to keep me excited.
This and the incredibly giant sunflowers, which I did grow from seed, are the most ‘active’.
Mmmmmmmm, I would love to have a couple of those right now, they do make the most delicious chocolate brownies. So moist and fudgy.
My Green Thumb is shared…stop by if you have some time!! Happy Sunday.
I’ve already dropped in at Anni’s to ask for the recipe. If anyone has good zucchini recipes, I’m assuming I’m going to need them. This plant looks pretty healthy.
Hi again….Here’s the recipe I use for brownies, it was found on the ‘net….and they’re so moist and delicious!
