I’ve been gardening off and on for about 10 years. I’m in Southern California (Zone 9/Sunset Zone 18). I took an unplanned hiatus which, now that I look back, was mostly a result of getting two australian shepherds as puppies (in February ‘05 and July ‘06) and realizing that it’s difficult to garden with that kind of ‘help’.
I’m back at it and like most things I start…I’m diving in head first…full speed ahead…going full bore…but notice that I said s t a r t. I’m hoping that by documenting this in this manner, it will feed my geeky-organizational side, as well as my outdoor-play-in-the-dirt-grow-something side. We’ll see.
