Flash and White Balance Practice

I needed a picture for Friday, May 16th. It was late. So I took some pictures of a dog toy under the coffee table. My first results looked like what’s posted above. I bet that the white balance was set to cloudy initially, but I must have deleted the first few results. They freaked me out a bit. So then I started to play with the white balance. All these pictures were taken with the flash on, and red eye reduction on, because I was really trying to get a picture of Jake carrying his chicken…but he wouldn’t let me. The one above is incandescent.

This one is fluorescent.

This one is shade.

And the last is flash.

I was going to take a picture of my husband’s new D300 for the day, but he thought that would be making fun of him…so I didn’t.
